Our lil cutie got a sweet giraffe, though ironically it has no neck, for Valentines Day.

He is lil Mr Personality these days.
Matt bought me 2 dozen beautiful roses, but he didn't think they were pretty enough so he got me 2 dozen more. Nicely done :) We decided to beat the crowds by going out on the 15th for a date; apparently everyone else in town thought the same thing because we went to 3 restaurants and each had 1.5 hr wait! Plus it was POURING rain and there was nowhere to park, so instead of dinner and a movie we had Chinese and went home.
I thought it'd be cute to make some handprint valentines for the grandparents; I figured Carsen might like playing with the finger paint.
He insisted of having the paintbrush and was only interested in 1- throwing the wet paper on the floor, 2- crumpling the cards and 3- chewing on the paintbrush, wet end of course.
I made the mistake of doing this project right before bath time, which meant late in the evening when he was already tired. It shortly because a tear fest.
But man is he cute.
