Pumpkin patch and Halloween

Ohh October! What a great month. I love love love autumn, especially sunny and warm fall days like last weekend. Matt was a good sport and indulged me in going out to the pumpkin patch by Smith Rock. Turns out it's a huge deal- corn maze, live band, pumpkin cannon, carriage rides, petting zoo, corn dogs!

It was a picture perfect day and I even discovered an orange onsie sweatsuit that says "Little Pumpkin" on it!

But Carsen was more interested in the dried leaves.

He also really wanted to crawl around and eat dirt. What a boy!

He looks like such a little boy in this picture. Not sure I like that yet.

These two men!! I am so lucky!

He was pretty sleepy so wasn't into smiling. He napped on the way there but we had to wake him up and he did not appreciate that.

Totally worth the drive out there. I tried to get Matt to shoot the pumpkin cannon but he wasn't into it. Next year! We didn't even end up getting a pumpkin either :)

Look how he sleeps. So funny. That doesn't look comfortable to me.

He's started doing this nose crinkle. Apparently I do this too.

For Halloween, Matt thought a lion costume would be cute. I found one but its mane did not hold up washing; it came out as an Afro. I threw together a lion tamer costume and (because we couldn't last minute find an adult lion costume) Matt went as a safari guide/lion owner. Really he just wanted to wear a mustache.

Never thought I'd say this but he can pull off a 'stache.

We walked around the Old Mill shops with some other babies, collecting candy to then hand out at our door.

This might be one of my fave pics ever! Xoxo

Carsen was very concerned about Matt's hat and moustache. He just stared and stared and touched.

Later we tried on the other 'staches.
